غزل شمارهٔ ۶
7 couplets
به مُلازِمانِ سلطان، که رساند این دعا را؟
که به شُکرِ پادشاهی، زِ نظر مَران گدا را
ز رقیبِ دیوسیرت، به خدای خود پناهم
مَگَر آن شهابِ ثاقِب مددی دهد، خدا را!
مُژِهیِ سیاهت اَرْ کرد به خونِ ما اشارت
ز فریبِ او بیندیش و غلط مکن، نگارا
دلِ عالمی بِسوزی چُو عِذار بَرفُروزی
تو از این چه سود داری، که نمیکنی مدارا؟
همهشب در این اُمیدم که نسیمِ صبحگاهی
به پیام آشنایان، بنوازد آشنا را
چه قیامت است جانا، که به عاشقان نمودی؟
دل و جان فدای رویت، بِنَما عِذار ما را
به خدا، که جرعهای دِه تو به حافظِ سحرخیز
که دعایِ صبحگاهی، اثری کند شما را

Confidence in thy fortune bringeth he who hath seen and he who hath not seen
Excellent! O thou (that art) worthy of such grace of God.

ze raghib diusirt, be khadai khod panahm
magar an shahabe sagheb maddi dahad, khoda ra!
mozhee-ye siaht ar kard be khun ma ashart
ze faribe u bindish o ghalat makon, nagara
del 'almi besuzi cho 'ezar barforuzi
to az in che sud dari, ke nemi-koni madara?
hame-shab dar in omidm ke nasim sabahgahi
be piam ashnaian, banuazd ashna ra
che ghiamt ast jana, ke be 'asheghan namudi?
del o jan fadai ruit, benama 'ezar ma ra
be khoda, ke jor'e-ey dee to be hafez sharkhiz
ke do'aye sabahgahi, asri konad shoma ra
