Ghazal 471
غزل شمارهٔ ۴۷۱
11 couplets
ز دلبرم که رساند نوازش قلمی
کجاست پیک صبا گر همی کند کرمی؟
قیاس کردم و تدبیر عقل در ره عشق
چو شبنمی است که بر بحر میکشد رقمی
بیا که خرقهٔ من گر چه رهن میکدههاست
ز مال وقف نبینی به نام من درمی
حدیثِ چون و چرا دردِ سر دهد ای دل
پیاله گیر و بیاسا ز عمرِ خویش دمی
طبیبِ راهنشین درد عشق نشناسد
برو به دست کن ای مردهدل مسیحدمی
دلم گرفت ز سالوس و طبل زیر گلیم
به آن که بر در میخانه برکشم عَلَمی
بیا که وقتشناسان دو کون بفروشند
به یک پیاله میِ صاف و صحبتِ صنمی
دوام عیش و تنعم نه شیوهٔ عشق است
اگر معاشرِ مایی بنوش نیش غمی
نمیکنم گلهای لیک ابر رحمت دوست
به کِشتهزار جگرتشنگان نداد نمی
چرا به یک نیِ قندش نمیخرند آن کس
که کرد صد شکرافشانی از نیِ قلمی
سزای قدر تو شاها به دست حافظ نیست
جز از دعای شبی و نیاز صبحدمی
Out from my heart, I came; and, out (successfully) the work cometh
not. Out from myself, I went; and in, the (true) Beloved cometh not.
In this fancy (of Thy tress), life's time ended; yet, To an end, the calamity of His long tress cometh not. (Fit to
tell) to the morning-breeze, many are the stories of my heart; But, by (reason of) my (ill) fortune, the morning, to night becometh not.
Ever became no sin, my sigh (prayer) of the morning time
Now what hath happened that effective (even) one sigh— « cometh not. 5.
Life and wealth, we sacrificed not for the Friend. Alas!
From us (even to) this (little) extent, love's work cometh not.
In regret for the dust of Thy door, I so die, That,
into my sight (as being of value, even) the (precious) water-of-life cometh not.
Much affrighted of all men, became the heart of Hafiz Now,
forth from the curl of His tress, it (the heart) cometh not.

biya ke kherghe man gar che rahan meykade-hast
ze mal vaghf nabini be nam man darmi
hadis chon o chera dard sar dahad ey del
piyale gir o biasa ze 'omr khish dami
tabibe rah-neshin dard 'eshgh nashnasd
boro be dast kon ey morde-del masih-dami
delam gereft ze salus o tabal zir galim
be an ke bar dar meykhane barakasham 'alami
biya ke vaght-shanasan do kun bafrushand
be yek piyale mi saf o sohbat sanmi
davam 'ish o tan'm na shive 'eshgh ast
agar m'ashre maii banush nish ghami
nemi-konam gale-ey lik abr rahamat dust
be keshte-zar jagaratashangan nadad nemi
chera be yek ney ghanadash nemi-kharanad an kas
ke kard sad shakrafshani az ney ghalmi
sazai ghadr to shaha be dast hafez nist
