غزل شمارهٔ ۴۳۱

لبش میبوسم و در میکشم می
به آب زندگانی بردهام پی
نه رازش میتوانم گفت با کس
نه کس را میتوانم دید با وی
لبش میبوسد و خون میخورد جام
رخش میبیند و گل میکند خوی
بده جام می و از جم مکن یاد
که میداند که جم کی بود و کی کی؟
بزن در پرده چنگ ای ماه مطرب!
رگش بخراش تا بخروشم از وی
گل از خلوت به باغ آورد مسند
بساط زهد همچون غنچه کن طی
چو چشمش مست را مخمور مگذار
به یاد لعلش ای ساقی بده می
نجوید جان از آن قالب جدایی
که باشد خونِ جامش در رگ و پی
زبانت درکِش ای حافظ زمانی
حدیث بیزبانان بشنو از نی
This tumult is what that, in the age of the moon (the end
of time), I see? Full of strife and iniquity, all the horizons, 1 see.
From time the day of prosperousness every one seeketh: Difficult this is — that daily, worse^— • I see.
All in strife and struggle with the mother, the daughters: All ill-wishers of the father, the sons I see.
Neither hath brother any pity for brother; Nor for the son, the father's compassion do I see. 5. For fools,
all is sharbat of rose-water and sugar; All of blood (of grief) of the liver, the subsistence of the sage I see.
The Arab steed, galled beneath the pack-saddle; All on the neck of the ass, the golden collar I see. The counsel of Hafiz, hear; Khwaja, go; goodness, do
