Ghazal 395

گُلبرگ را ز سُنْبُلِ مُشکین، نِقاب کُن

یعنی که رُخ بپوش و جهانی، خراب کُن

بِفْشان عَرَق ز چهره و اطرافِ باغ را

چون شیشه‌هایِ دیدهٔ ما پُرگُلاب کُن

اَیّامِ گُل، چو عمر به رفتن شتاب کرد

ساقی به دورِ بادهٔ گلگون، شتاب کُن

بُگْشا به شیوه، نرگسِ پُرخوابِ مست را

وز رَشک، چَشمِ نرگسِ رَعنا به خواب کن

بویِ بنفشه بشنو و زُلْفِ نگار گیر

بِنْگَر به رنگِ لاله و عَزْمِ شراب کُن

زآن جا که رسم و عادتِ عاشق‌کشی توست

با دشمنان، قَدَح کَش و با ما عِتاب کُن

همچون حُباب، دیده به رویِ قَدَح گُشای

وین خانه را قیاسِ اساس از حُباب کُن

حافظ وِصال می‌طَلَبَد از رهِ دُعا

یا رب! دعایِ خسته‌دلان، مُسْتَجاب کُن

Without the beloved's face, the rose Without wine, spring The border of the sward and the air of the garden Without the (beloved of) tulip cheek With the beloved,

sugar of lip, rose of body, (To be) without kiss and embrace The dancing of the cypress, and the rapture of the rose, Without the song of the hazar 5.

Every picture that reason's hand depicteth, Save the picture of the (living beauteous) idol The garden and the rose and wine, (all) is pleasant

but, Without the beloved's society, Hafiz! the soul is (but) a despicable coin: For scattering (on the true Beloved), it is not pleasant, is not pleasant. is not pleasant, is not pleasant, is not pleasant. is not pleasant, is not pleasant, is not pleasant. 4. golabarg ra ze sonbole moshkin, neghab kon

ya'ni ke rokh bapush o jahani, kharab kon

chon shishe-haye did-ye ma porgolab kon

ayyam gol, cho 'omr be rafatan shetab kard

saghi be dowr bade galgun, shetab kon

bogsha be shive, narges porkhuabe mast ra

vaz rashk, cheshm narges ra'na be khuab kon

buy banafshe beshno o zolf negar gir

bengar be rang lale o 'azme sharab kon

zan ja ke rasm o 'adte 'ashegh-keshi tost

ba dashamnan, ghadah kesh o ba ma 'etab kon

hamchon hobab, dide be ruy ghadah goshai

vin khane ra ghiase asas az hobab kon

hafez vesal mi-talabad az rah do'a

ya rab! do'aye khaste-dalan, mostajab kon
